If you have dealt with flooding in your yard before, it will inevitably happen again. There is no better time to install a solution than right now. Does your sidewalk flood, causing icy conditions in the winter? We can solve that inexpensively. We also offer landscaping services and patio installation with 38 years of experience in the trade.

Estimates are free and are given the same day. We are scheduling now! By discussing the issues, we can come up with the most efficient way to proceed. This is a no pressure meeting, taking about 5 to 15 minutes. You choose if and when to move forward.

The clients we have serviced, they are not concerned with flooding today. They let their dogs and children out without dread!

We've designed a sump pump system that completely eliminates flooding. Whether we get a severe thunderstorm dropping three inches of rain in an hour, or as this past mid-January when we had rapid snowmelt and a quick inch in a half a rain, or if your neighbor's yards flows into yours, it doesn't matter. This fully automated underground system gets rid of it.

It works in two ways. Firstly, there's a screened opening in the side of the basin that allows excess moisture in the ground to seep in, allowing your lawn to take in water in the first place, and getting rid of mushiness. Secondly, if it rains really hard, water will flow through the two screened openings on the lid. All water entering the basin is filtered through rock and screen, keeping your pump safe. The discharge flows to a pop-up cap onto the front lawn where it disperses into it without consequence. Front lawns are sloped which is why there isn't flooding issues.

Generally, the power is piped into the garage, encased in PVC and sealed so no water touches the cord and extension cord. We connect a 3/4 inch heavy duty hose, encased in PVC for the discharge.

The beauty of this system is that we've designed it to be homeowner friendly. Say after about 10 or 15 years, the hose finally needs replacement. Simply, open the lid of the basin, unscrew the hose from the pump, connect the new hose to it, go to the pop-up, lift off the cap by hand. The end of the hose is right there. Pull the old hose out as the new one is fed through. The same goes for changing the extension cord and pump.

There are no code requirements because this a landscaping project. By using a hose and extension cord, as opposed to hardwire and pipe, any maintenance is easily addressed, without costs of hiring a plumber and electrician. If water is pumped through the pipe it would require a camera and digging. We've eliminated that.

The lid of the basin is metal and sits flush with the ground, bolted onto the basin. It's so strong that it handles the weight of the wheel of a commercial lawnmower riding over it, if the basin is placed in the lawn area. If you wanted, you could put a potted fern or flowers and baseball size stones around it, basically just looking like a small flower bed, or something similar to hide it. It's 18 inches wide. We use the best basin, sump pump, hose and a 12 gauge extension cord. Everything entirely encased in durable PVC.

We look forward to hearing from you and helping you find with best solutions!
